- Oversee strategic communications campaign development and execution from concept through delivery.
- Define key messages, delivery channels, and performance metrics (KPIs) for all communications initiatives.
- Evaluate the impact of communication campaigns, leveraging insights to continuously improve strategies and boost effectiveness.
- Content Creation and Management
- Exhibit strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills to create engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Develop strategic marketing initiatives, campaigns, and communications to increase awareness, promote interest, and enable greater understanding.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns and digital content.
- Website Management and Digital Marketing
- Oversee website design, optimization, and maintenance in alignment with SEO best practices, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies, including SEO and SEM, and campaigns to increase brand visibility and drive engagement.
- Monitor and analyze website performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Leadership and Collaboration
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to driving initiatives within a cross-functional environment.
- Effectively set priorities, organize work, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Utilize excellent consultative skills to interface effectively with all levels of employees and management.
- Deliver compelling presentations and communication to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Brand Reputation and Development
- Enhance and maintain Recology's brand reputation through strategic communication and marketing efforts.
- Contribute to brand development and content through creative design feedback and alignment with the company's strategic vision.
- Establish and enforce communication standards and best practices to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Media and Public Relations
- Monitor media and public relations activities led by internal and external colleagues.
- Other Duties
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is:
- Six years of related experience in communications, marketing, and website management, including strategic planning and execution.
- Demonstrated expertise in website management and digital marketing strategies.
- Knowledgeable and proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design, video editing, and web development applications.
- Knowledgeable and capable of website management.
- Excellent communicator in written and verbal form.
- Ability to create compelling content that generates impact with the ability to influence others.
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to foster teamwork.
- Background and experience in executive communication and project management.
- Understanding or knowledge of design principles and best practices.
- Experience working with creative teams and providing design feedback.
- Proven experience organizing and directing projects while being an individual contributor.
- Principles of employee training, supervision, and evaluation.
- Supervisory techniques, resource allocation, planning, and budgeting.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, business, management, marketing, or another related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
