Key Responsibilities

Peraton is in search of a skilled Project Manager to enhance our USCYBERCOM team.

In this position, you will:
  • Evaluate and analyze strategies, doctrines, policies, directives, and instructions from senior leadership, providing recommendations to ensure adherence and integration into planning initiatives.
  • Create comprehensive plans and directives utilizing operational art and design principles, employing the Joint Planning Process (JPP) to establish milestones, deliverables, and interaction points for plans derived from Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX) methodologies.
  • Contribute to briefings, transitioning concepts into actionable steps, and aiding in the coordination of joint operational planning for training, exercises, and contingency operations.
  • Integrate cyberspace capabilities into strategic, contingency, and crisis action planning.
  • Assist in the formulation of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), Concepts of Operations (CONOPs), Courses of Action (COAs), and other relevant documentation concerning Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO), Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO), and the security and operation of the DODIN.
  • Identify and address capability gaps, prioritize and validate requirements, and adapt planning efforts in response to the evolving cyberspace landscape.
  • Support the creation of exercise scenarios, operational plans, and other necessary documentation to fulfill USCYBERCOM exercise training objectives.
  • Conduct analysis of current and emerging threats to U.S. Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources (CIKR).
  • Engage in Joint Planning Groups (JPGs) and Operational Planning Groups/Teams (OPG/OPTs).
Qualifications

Essential:
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Project Management, Business Management, Economics, Political Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Law, Government Contracting, Finance/Accounting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Proficient understanding of the Joint Planning Process.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Strong executive-level communication skills.
  • Comprehension of Cyber Mission and the implications of policy and operations in cyberspace.
  • U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Strategic Planning.
  • Background in Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) planning.
  • Leadership experience in Operational Planning Teams (OPT).
  • Capability to lead and actively participate in JPGs and OPG/OPT, integrating cyber capabilities into plans in support of Combatant Commander objectives.
  • Ability to coordinate cyberspace operations planning activities through the IJSTO, including Evaluation Request and Response Messages, SAP procedures, and the RAPCO.
  • Expertise in all planning methodologies and applications across military operations phases, providing analytical insight and knowledge of operational design, Joint Operation Planning, and APEX.
  • Capacity to establish joint operations planning objectives for combat and contingency operations independently.
  • Proficiency in coordinating the development of cyberspace operations plans, contingency plans, CONOPs, and orders autonomously.
  • Extensive technical expertise; ability to lead and engage in all phases of the JPP and APEX activities.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
