Your Role:
As the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing branch operations. Your primary objectives will include achieving sales and margin targets, delivering outstanding customer service, and maintaining effective inventory and expense management while fostering a culture of leadership and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Visionary Leadership: Establish goals, plan, direct, train, and assess team performance to meet departmental objectives and promote employee development.
  2. Mentorship: Oversee comprehensive training programs in product knowledge, company policies, and safety standards, preparing your team for critical roles and ensuring adherence to WMH safety protocols.
  3. Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to design and implement strategies that enhance sales performance and broaden our customer base.
  4. Customer Engagement: Interact proactively with customers through various communication channels, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively.
  5. Goal Setting: Define ambitious yet attainable goals for your team, nurturing a culture of accountability, growth, and teamwork.

  7. Reporting: Provide detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on progress and performance utilizing our advanced WMH business systems.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Strong business acumen and customer service skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficient decision-making and organizational skills.
  • A High School Diploma or GED (required).
  • Extensive experience in Material Handling, Parts, or Service Management (highly preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years in strategic planning, team development, or operational efficiency.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Relevant experience in product management and technical knowledge of forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • A commitment to industry standards and a professional demeanor.

Work Environment:
This position is based in a branch setting, with occasional travel to regional locations.
