Stoa Group, a nationally ranked #5 best places to work in multifamily, is seeking a full-time Assistant Service Manager for our new luxury apartment community in Baton Rouge, LA. As a vital part of our team, you will work closely with our property management team to provide exceptional service to residents, collaborate with team members to assess and respond to maintenance issues, and develop a rapport with residents by being knowledgeable and friendly.

Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain all community plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, carpentry, and painting needs.
  • Build positive connections with residents by offering a smile and a greeting when you see them and chatting as you make repairs in their homes.
  • Manage service requests, collaborating with teammates and prioritizing requests to earn trust and build resident satisfaction.
  • Monitor apartment vacancies and initiate the turnover process with painting, cleaning, and repairing.
  • Tend to preventive maintenance, safeguarding equipment with regular tune-ups to minimize costly repairs.
  • Notice details, walking the property daily to inspect all areas for cleanliness and safety and helping to maintain great curb appeal.
  • Lead and coach others, mentoring, training, and developing teammates, and assuming managerial responsibilities in the absence of your Service Manager.
