We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our Financial Department at Woodhaven Residential Treatment Center. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing billing operations and ensuring timely claim resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze denied insurance claims to identify reasons for denial.
  • Prepare and submit appeals, including necessary supporting documentation.
  • Investigate claims without payer response to ensure timely resolution.
  • Research Ohio Medicaid rules, payer contracts, and billing guidelines to resolve disputes.
  • Collaborate with the billing team on special projects and assist with claim escalation.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in reporting claim denials and following up with insurance providers.

Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in medical billing, claims processing, or a similar field (experience in Ohio Medicaid Behavioral Health billing preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in EHR/RCM software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Certification: CPR certification required (Medical Billing and Coding certification preferred).
