Compensation Claims Adjuster Position in the Midwest

Gallagher Bassett is a leading provider of claims management services, and we are seeking an experienced Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster to join our team.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision plans, as well as 401(k) and Roth options.
Job DescriptionAs a Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving complex workers compensation claims. This will involve working with clients to understand their needs, analyzing claim data, and making informed decisions to bring claims to resolution.

Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in work comp indemnity adjusting
- Jurisdictional experience in the Midwest (IL, IA, IN, NE, MI, AZ, NV, NM, OK, TX, CO, SD, ND)
- Active adjusters' licenses in Texas All Lines or Florida All Lines preferred or work comp adjuster license
Additional qualifications include a high school diploma, computer experience with related claims and business software, and knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.

How You'll Make an Impact- Apply claims management experience to execute decision-making to analyze claims exposure, plan the proper course of action, and appropriately resolve claims.
- Interact extensively with various parties involved in the claim process to ensure effective communication and resolution.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our claimants on behalf of our clients exhibiting empathy through each step of the claims process.
- Handle claims consistent with clients' and corporate policies, procedures, and standard methodologies in accordance with statutory, regulatory, and ethics requirements.
- Document and communicate claim activity timely and efficiently, supporting the outcome of the claim file.
