Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Obstetrician-Gynecologist RN to join our team on a part-time basis. As a member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the hospital's mission to deliver the highest level of quality and compassionate healthcare to the D.C. region.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the obstetrics and gynecology department, including prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose, and treat patients with a range of obstetric and gynecologic conditions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Current state nursing license.
- ACLS, NRP (or obtained within three months of employment).
- BLS.
- One year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting, preferably in obstetrics and gynecology.
