Principal Modeling and Simulation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our integrated product team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-fidelity performance simulations, evaluating system performance, and supporting new business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop complex simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct trade studies and evaluate system and subsystem performance
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members and contribute to the development of technical plans and roadmaps
- Work closely with government counterparts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the field of modeling and simulation
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field
- 8+ years of experience in modeling, simulation, statistics, or analysis for existing or proposed engineering solutions
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or MATLAB, and experience with Python for data analysis
- Experience with signal processing, GNC algorithms, and control hardware design and test
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience managing teams and interacting with multiple engineering disciplines
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field
- Leadership experience managing teams using applied system engineering principles
- Experience with UNIX/Linux-based workstations and software configuration management tools
- Coursework or experience in radar, signal and image processing, and digital communications
- A competitive salary range of $96,000 - $200,000
