Job Title: Director of Pharmacy

At AHS Vista LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Pharmacy to lead our pharmacy department. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leadership, clinical excellence, and a deep commitment to patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Policies: Create and enforce policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the safe and effective use of medications.
  • Provide Safe and Effective Pharmacotherapy: Oversee the provision of safe, effective, and appropriate pharmacotherapy for all patients.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with clinical practice standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes through evidence-based medication management.
  • Lead and Develop Pharmacy Staff: Lead, mentor, and develop the pharmacy staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Manage Pharmacy Budget: Manage the pharmacy budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining the highest standards of care.
  • Stay Current with Advancements: Stay current with advancements in pharmacy practice, regulations, and technology to enhance service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an Accredited Pharmacy Degree Program: Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy degree program.
  • Current Illinois Pharmacy License: Current Illinois Pharmacy license (required).
  • Minimum of 5 Years of Clinical Pharmacy Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical pharmacy experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated outstanding leadership abilities and a proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
