We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead our aviation projects in Los Angeles. Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Review and approve contractor payments, invoices, and change orders, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
- Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation, including project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure project success.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams, stakeholders, and clients on construction-related matters.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, and apply this knowledge to improve project delivery and outcomes.
- 15+ years of experience in construction project management, with a strong background in aviation construction projects.
- Proven track record of delivering complex construction projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of construction laws, regulations, and industry standards, including OSHA, FAA, and local building codes.
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Project.
- Knowledge of construction best practices, general building codes, and various building types and systems.
- Passion for being detail-oriented and highly organized, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Aviation and terminal experience, with a strong understanding of airport construction projects.
- Relevant professional licensure and/or certifications, such as PE, RA, CCM, AAAE, LEED, PMP, AICP, etc.
