Construction Site Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description
You will be part of our Construction Services/Design Build Group and Contract Administration team. As a Construction Site Quality Assurance Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing field observation/inspection to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Material sampling and testing.
- Preparing pay estimates and producing project documentation for private, municipal, county, MnDOT, NDDOT, and federal projects.
- Documentation will include daily diaries, quantity calculations, and backup documentation, letters, memos, and spreadsheets.
- You may also help with surveying, proposals, project budgets, and schedules, as well as be involved in design-build, pavement management, or other technical-related activities.
- Applicant must be willing to travel and perform assigned duties outside of the immediate Fargo area.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 1+ years of construction inspection or related experience (5+ years preferred).
- Excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Material testing experience as well as current MnDOT/NDDOT technical certifications are preferred. Qualified candidates should send a copy of their current DOT certification card when applying.
- A valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
- The ability to work in various weather conditions and terrains associated with construction sites.
- A two-year technical degree from an accredited school or a degree from a four-year accredited college in a field related to civil engineering construction is a plus and will increase opportunities and growth.
