We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Disability Solutions in Soldotna, AK. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of dialysis equipment and providing exceptional patient care.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working with complex machinery and equipment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.

About the Role:

  • Maintain and repair dialysis equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, monitoring patients before, during, and after treatment.
  • Clean and inspect areas of access, ensuring adherence to strict hygiene protocols.
  • Monitor equipment settings, temperatures, and pressures to ensure conformance to safety standards.
  • Assist in inventory management and supply stocking in the dialysis clinic.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; evidence of such is required pre-employment.
  • Minimum 3 months of dialysis, phlebotomy, or CNA/PCA experience preferred.
  • CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to distinguish primary colors and pass the Ishihara Color Vision Test.
  • Successful completion of our dialysis training program, including demonstrated competency, within 12 weeks of hire.
  • Must meet CMS-approved national certification requirements within the CMS timeline.
