ESE/ESOL Program Manager for Student Support Services

At EdisonLearning, we are seeking a highly skilled ESE/ESOL Program Manager to join our team of dedicated professionals at NorthStar Academy Palm Beach Middle School.
We are committed to providing an exceptional education to our students, and we need a passionate and experienced individual to lead our ESE/ESOL programs and services. As ESE/ESOL Program Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our students with disabilities receive the support and accommodations they need to succeed.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $70,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Summary:
The ESE/ESOL Program Manager is responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulations related to special education and English language learner programs. This includes providing student interventions and modifications to the academic program, managing ELL and ESOL programs and services, developing related goals and objectives, and recommending policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain educational records for students with disabilities, including IEPs, evaluation reports, and staffing forms;
- Ensure that all students with disabilities have a current IEP and that all IEPs adhere to least restrictive environment (LRE) and free appropriate public education (FAPE) guidelines;
- Coordinate the provision of special education services and related services per the students' IEPs;
- Collaborate with regular education personnel on Response to Intervention/Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS);
- Provide school leadership team with reports on special education services, progress monitoring data, and compliance data;
- Communicate regularly with Regional Special Education Director on IDEA, FAPE, LRE, and IEP successes and challenges;
- Develop and maintain special education programs that are compliant and instructionally sound;
- Provide consultative and collaborative expert support for instructional and behavioral intervention programs;
- Attend IEP meetings as appropriate;
- Keep current with issues, laws, and regulations regarding positive behavior interventions, special education, and educational trends;
- Coordinate and oversee the extended school year program;
- Provide training and consultation in the adaptation of curriculum and delivery services to meet the needs of students with disabilities;
- Contribute to a culture of professionalism among team members;
- Maintain accurate records and files, and prepare documents and reports;
Key Relationships:
This role requires strong relationships with Core Content Teachers, School District ELL, ESOL Education Compliance Officer, and other stakeholders.
