Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Instructional Paraprofessional - ESE Specialist to join our team at Pinellas County Schools. As an Instructional Paraprofessional, you will provide instructional support to students with exceptional student education (ESE) needs, working closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
* Provide instructional support to students with ESE needs, including assisting with lesson planning, implementing instructional strategies, and monitoring student progress
* Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
* Assist with classroom management, including supervising students during transitions and breaks
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum educational requirements may vary depending on specific job requirements
* Ability to work with students with diverse learning needs and abilities
