Position Overview:
This engaging role supports various tasks associated with the effective and prompt handling of client requests as outlined by the sales framework. Responsibilities may encompass design conceptualization, creating design inquiries, selecting images, entering orders, placing vendor orders, general customer service tasks, pricing, and aiding in the design/sales process. The individual in this role will be accountable for preparing proposals under the guidance of a Principal, Project Consultants, and independently initiated proposals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the capacity to juggle multiple details from various sources while managing overall project execution. This role does not involve initiating sales contacts.
The core function of this position is to act as a bridge between the sales and operational teams of the organization and the clients. The candidate should possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with a professional presentation style. The ability to thrive in a collaborative environment is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales-related tasks: design, order processing, customer support, project coordination, presentations, proposal development, and specifications.
- Operations-related tasks: inventory oversight, vendor procurement, process design, and implementation.
The candidate will either possess or quickly develop the ability to consult with clients regarding artistic and branding visuals to be showcased in their commercial spaces.
Essential Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has a background in sales, operations, and production within the commercial art, custom exhibit, or signage sectors. This role requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in technology such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Familiarity with business software systems related to operational functions is also necessary.
A degree in Interior Design, Graphic Design, Interior Architecture, or Fine Arts is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
The candidate in this role should be capable of receiving products in designated areas, transferring items to staging zones, and lifting products onto production tables, carts, and overhead storage.
