Job Description for Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d)

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team at Horizon Ventures in Elmshorn. As a Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing systems, assemblies, and components in the field of special mechanical engineering and automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement detailed designs and calculations for mechanical systems and components
  • Create and maintain production documents, parts lists, and specifications
  • Implement adaptation designs in compliance with current norms and regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth development and processing
  • Coordinate with customers and suppliers to meet project requirements
Requirements:
  • Completed training as a technician (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in mechanical engineering
  • Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD programs (preferably AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office products
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
