Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer at HDR, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing mechanical systems for commercial and industrial projects. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the work of mechanical design teams with multidisciplinary teams throughout project development
- Assess and design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial and industrial projects
- Establish meetings and participate in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance
- Coordinate workload to complete documents on schedule

- Review mechanical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines
- Write and edit mechanical specifications and select equipment, mechanical systems, and other devices

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with Mechanical emphasis
- Professional Engineers license, Mechanical
- 5 years of experience in HVAC and plumbing system design
- Computer experience utilizing MS Office, Trane TRACE, or similar software, manufacturer selection software
- Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
