Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the baler in a safe and efficient manner
  • Maintain accurate bale reports and records
  • Recommend improvements to operations to increase productivity and efficiency
  • Collaborate with the Corrugator Supervisor to ensure smooth operations
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on the baler and surrounding equipment
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and housekeeping standards
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in the corrugated industry preferred
  • Prior experience as a forklift operator preferred
  • Ability to read and follow instructions on factory masters
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including percentages, measurement, volume, and rate
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form
Working Conditions

The Baler Operator will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, and loud noise levels.
