We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer to join our team at Micro Tech Staffing Group. As a CNC Programmer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate production of high-quality components using CNC machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize CNC programs based on engineering specifications and drawings using MasterCAM.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, for production runs.
- Perform initial machine testing to ensure program accuracy and make adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve product designs for manufacturability.
- Monitor tooling and machine performance to maintain quality standards during production.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
- Document and maintain records of programming changes, production runs, and machine performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer using MasterCAM.
- Strong understanding of CNC machinery and programming languages such as G-code and M-code.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and its application in machining processes.
- Solid mathematical skills and the ability to apply concepts of algebra and geometry.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
