Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Peak Campus. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our properties, focusing on maintenance and repair activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties efficiently.
  • Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend the life of our assets.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to ensure timely completion of maintenance requests and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the property to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Manage maintenance inventory and supplies, ensuring that the team has the necessary materials to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective service.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of energy-saving initiatives to reduce energy consumption and costs.
  • Assist with the training and development of maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of maintenance supervisory experience, preferably in the multifamily industry.
  • EPA certification Type II required; CPO preferred.
  • Ability to live within 30 miles of the assigned property.
  • A valid driver's license and current automobile insurance required.
