Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Management Specialist to join our team in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall excellence of our properties.

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on all equipment as directed by the Property Manager, ensuring optimal performance and extending the lifespan of our assets.
  • Inspect and maintain tools in excellent condition, guaranteeing they remain functional and effective.
  • Be aware of all utility meter cut-offs, apartment and fixture cut-offs, sewer cleanouts, and take prompt action to address any issues that may arise.
  • Manage and train Maintenance Technicians, reviewing their productivity, customer service, job fit, attendance, and knowledge of the position and property, taking corrective disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Responsible for snow removal on designated properties, utilizing shoveling, salting, snow blowing, and scheduling plow trucks as needed.
  • Perform work area clean-up and safety-related duties, adhering to all company safety rules and using appropriate safety equipment at all times.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (College Degree or Coursework Desirable)

Please note that prior Maintenance Management Experience is required, with vocational, technical, or trade education preferred. Additionally, experience leading maintenance teams, owning personal tools, and having a reliable vehicle are essential. HVAC certification and experience, plumbing skills, electrical skills, and carpentry skills are also highly valued.
