Job Overview
We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Pre-Anesthesia Consult Clinic team, playing a key role in preparing patients for safe anesthesia care. The APP will assess patient health status, review medical history, conduct physical exams, and collaborate with anesthesia providers and the care team to ensure a safe anesthetic experience.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, including medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Provide education and counseling on anesthesia risks, benefits, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with anesthesia teams to develop individualized plans.
  • Order lab work and diagnostic tests prior to procedures.
  • Coordinate care for patients with complex conditions.
  • Document patient information accurately.
  • Provide post-consultation support.

Educational Requirements and Salary
This full-time position requires a Master's degree in Nursing and active certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Ohio. Previous pediatric experience is preferred but not required. The salary range for this position is approximately $123,000 - $145,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
