Position Overview:
Are you dedicated to ensuring that electronic systems operate effectively in demanding conditions? As an Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer, you will lead the analysis and testing of EMC/EMI to uphold the highest standards of performance and dependability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough EMC/EMI analysis, testing, and troubleshooting for aerospace systems and components to ensure compliance and reliability.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive EMC/EMI control plans and testing procedures to effectively mitigate risks associated with electromagnetic interference.
  • Perform EMC/EMI testing in alignment with industry standards to validate electromagnetic compatibility.
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to seamlessly integrate EMC/EMI considerations into product designs, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Evaluate and recommend materials, components, and design modifications to enhance EMC/EMI performance based on analytical and testing outcomes.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations on EMC/EMI analysis and test results for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, standards, and best practices in EMC/EMI engineering to maintain compliance and enhance capabilities.
  • Assist in developing EMC/EMI training programs for engineering teams to promote awareness and understanding.
  • Support regulatory compliance activities and participate in audits and reviews as necessary to ensure adherence to applicable standards and requirements.
Qualifications:
  • A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field, or in the absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. Person status is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience with EMC/EMI testing equipment and software.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools for EMC/EMI analysis.
  • Knowledge of EMC/EMI principles, standards, and testing methods.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and certification processes for aerospace products.
