Position Overview:
As an Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that electronic systems operate without interference in demanding environments. Your expertise in EMC/EMI analysis and testing will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:

  • Lead EMC/EMI analysis, testing, and troubleshooting for aerospace systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and implement effective EMC/EMI control plans and testing procedures to minimize electromagnetic interference risks.
  • Collaborate with design teams to seamlessly integrate EMC/EMI considerations into product designs, enhancing overall performance.
  • Evaluate materials, components, and design modifications to optimize EMC/EMI performance based on thorough analysis and testing results.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation on EMC/EMI analysis and test outcomes for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, standards, and best practices in EMC/EMI engineering to enhance capabilities and ensure compliance.
  • Assist in creating EMC/EMI training programs for engineering teams to foster awareness and understanding.
  • Support regulatory compliance efforts and participate in audits and reviews to ensure adherence to applicable standards.

Qualifications:
This position typically requires:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field, or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with EMC/EMI testing equipment and software, along with familiarity with simulation tools for EMC/EMI analysis.
  • Knowledge of EMC/EMI principles, standards, and testing methodologies, including regulatory requirements for aerospace products.

The salary range for this role is between $64,000 and $128,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
