Job Overview

LightFeather IO LLC is seeking a skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team. This is a long-term project that requires a collaborative team player who can thrive in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in cloud-based technologies such as AWS and Java Spring Boot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software applications using Agile Development methodologies and Object Oriented Programming principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using cloud-based technologies.

Requirements:

  • US Citizenship.
  • Active clearance at the Public Trust level or above. DHS clearance preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Math, Engineering, or IT-related field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ yrs overall software development experience using Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and the following core languages and technologies: React and Java Spring Boot.
  • 3+ yrs developing software on fully automated CI/CD in the cloud - specifically, Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Must be proficient in developing APIs and microservices.
  • Must be proficient in automation tools - Jenkins, Git, Confluence/Jira.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
  • Detailed documentation skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communications.
  • Strong customer service/client facing skills.
  • Other nice to haves: DevOps, Terraform, AWS CLI, Apigee.
