Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Assistant Teaching Professor to join our team at the University of New England. The successful candidate will teach General Chemistry I laboratory (CHE 110L) in the Fall 2024 semester.

Responsibilities
  • Teach sections of General Chemistry Lab (CHE 110L) in the Fall 2024 semester.
  • Develop and present instruction aligned with the student learning outcomes of the course.
  • Prepare student assignments that assess the learning outcomes.
  • Meet during all designated class periods.
  • Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner.
  • Submit mid-semester progress reports and final grades by University deadlines.
  • Follow guidelines for delivery of the course under university protocols as outlined in the faculty and personnel handbooks.
Qualifications

A master's degree in chemistry or a closely related field is required; Ph.D. preferred. Candidates with college teaching experience are preferred.
