Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our educational team at Soliant. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide support to elementary students with speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to elementary students as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of therapy sessions and materials to ensure effective implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals, providing regular updates to the supervising SLP and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teachers to integrate communication strategies and support classroom activities, enhancing student communication and academic success.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress and needs, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to all school and district policies, ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
  • Valid Texas SLPA license.
  • Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively under the supervision of an SLP.
