We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language skills.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs based on assessment results.
- Provide direct therapeutic services to students with speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' communication needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide valuable input on student progress and goals.
- Educate and train teachers and parents on strategies to support speech and language development.
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida.
- Certification from the Florida Department of Education as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- At least 2 years of experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
