Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team at Mercy. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing individualized care to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses to treatment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
