ROLE SUMMARY

The PBM Operations Business Product Owner plays a critical role in driving business value and advancing high-impact initiatives across the organization. This individual serves as the key interface and liaison between business stakeholders and technology counterparts, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to business requirements for new and existing systems, from ideation to production, and provide project oversight.
  • Participate in discussions with technical resources to extract requirements from business sources and ensure business intent is accurately represented.
  • Apply business acumen to guide technical design and support, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Own the creation of epics to support analytic needs and drive business outcomes.
  • Communicate and report on progress regularly with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Prioritize and manage workload, meeting project deadlines and delivering results.
  • Apply business, technical, and financial acumen to drive business decisions and optimize project outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in program management or product ownership, with a strong background in agile methodology.
  • Proficiency in Jira and ability to operate in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and organization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in an ambiguous environment.
