About the Role

Fenway Health is seeking a dynamic Primary Care Physician to join our Internal Medicine team at our outpatient clinical headquarters in Boston. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality, comprehensive, and affirming healthcare to our patients, including those from the LGBTQIA+ community, BIPOC communities, and individuals living with HIV/AIDS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct medical services to patients, including conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting tests, formulating diagnosis and treatment plans, and prescribing medication.
  • Provide psychosocial screening and evaluation to patients.
  • Supervise mid-level practitioners and trainees, helping to set up diagnosis and treatment plans.

Requirements
  1. MD or DO degree.
  2. Current Massachusetts license.
  3. Board eligibility or certification in family medicine, internal medicine, or medicine/pediatrics.
  4. Current AAHIVM credentials.
  5. Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with colleagues, patients, clients, and vendors across the spectrum of diversity.
  6. Willingness to contribute towards Fenway's efforts in becoming an anti-racist organization and promoting a culture dedicated to ongoing development in service of humility, equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
  • OSHA Category 1: involves exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required: sitting; using hands to manipulate objects/tools/controls; reaching with hands and arms; talking; hearing.
  • Frequently required: lifting and/or moving up to 10 lbs.
  • Occasional required: lifting and/or moving up to 25 lbs.
  • Vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
