Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide high-quality primary care services to individuals experiencing homelessness.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care services, including physical examinations, diagnostic studies, and therapy initiation.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patients' complex needs and circumstances.
- Collaborate with BHCHP physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and guidelines.
- Contribute to a culture of dignity, compassion, and respect, upholding BHCHP's mission and values.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Registration with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency.
- At least one year of direct NP/PA experience, preferably with patients who have or are experiencing homelessness, substance use disorder, or severe mental illness.
- Life support training certification (e.g., CPR, BLS, ACLS) from a course that includes a hands-on, in-person component.
- Experience working with underserved populations, mentally ill, homeless, and/or persons with substance use disorders.
- Bilingual proficiency preferred.
