We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Aide to join our team at La Frontera Center, Inc. As a Recovery Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families in their recovery journey, promoting wellness, and enhancing their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients and families in navigating the behavioral health system, providing support and guidance to enhance their recovery and promote wellness.
- Work collaboratively with clinical teams to implement service plans, providing rehabilitation and support services as needed.
- Facilitate communication between medical and behavioral health practitioners, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- Assist clients in completing legal consents and benefit coaching, promoting informed decision-making.
- Transport clients to appointments, providing support and accompaniment as needed.
- Perform welfare checks in clients' homes, assessing health and safety risks and reporting clinical information to the Recovery Coach/Supervisor.
- Attend required training and meetings, staying up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
- High school diploma or GED
- Personal recovery experience and certification as a Recovery Support Specialist (if providing peer support services)
- 21 years of age or older
- Reliable transportation, valid AZ driver's license, automobile insurance, and good driving record (if applicable)
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
- Proof of physical exam and annual proof of TB skin test
- Fingerprint Clearance (if working with children or in premises where children's services are rendered)
