Job Title: Construction Site Superintendent

At Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for the successful completion of new home and rehab construction projects from framing through punch list.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations on site, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain a two-week site schedule, ensuring that all crew members and volunteers are aware of their tasks and responsibilities.
  • Manage all safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Provide orientation and training to volunteers, ensuring they have a positive and productive experience.
  • Lead, train, and direct volunteers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Stay informed of volunteer schedules and expectations, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time.
  • Continually review and update the site schedule, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of AmeriCorps members, providing them with direction, training, and feedback as needed.
  • Proactively communicate with the Manager, ensuring that all issues and concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in all phases of the residential construction process.
  • Ability to lift 80 pounds independently/regularly and function on scaffolding, ladders, and roofs.
  • Ability to read and understand plans and construction details.
  • Familiarity with residential building codes.
  • Broad residential construction knowledge.
  • Experience working for a production homebuilder is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
