About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director to lead our Cancer Pharmacology team. As a key member of our research and development organization, you will be responsible for providing strategic and technical leadership in the translation research group and multi-disciplinary research and development project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute research strategies to advance our understanding of cancer pharmacology and oncogenic signaling pathways.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to design and execute preclinical studies, including in vitro and in vivo experiments.
  • Manage and analyze experimental data to inform research decisions and present results at internal meetings and scientific conferences.
  • Collaborate with external partners and contract research organizations to advance our research goals.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of procedures and data to ensure compliance with internal standard operating procedures and quality criteria.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in pharmacology, oncology, cell biology, or a related discipline, with 2-5 years of post-doctoral and at least 8-10 years of relevant industry experience in cancer drug discovery and development.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Deep expertise in cancer pharmacology and oncogenic signaling pathways.
  • Rigorous, quantitative, and detail-oriented experimentalist with a strong track record of scientific productivity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
