Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join our in vivo pharmacology team with a focus on oncology. The selected candidate will be responsible for evaluating novel ADC based oncology therapeutics in pre-clinical models. Hands-on experience and knowledge of mouse oncology models and cancer biology are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute in vivo pharmacology experiments, including efficacy CDX models and PK/PD studies.
  • Perform cell culture, tumor inoculation, therapeutic dosing, tumor measurements, and collect tissues from rodent in vivo studies.
  • Contribute to pre-clinical model development, optimization, and characterization.
  • Adhere to proper animal handling and ethical standards, ensuring all procedures are performed according to established guidelines.
  • Interface with cross-functional project team members and participate in project team meetings and cross-departmental team meetings.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Biology, Pharmacology, or a related discipline.
  • >4 years of hands-on in vivo model research experience in an industry setting.
  • Strong work ethic and enthusiasm for animal and laboratory work.
  • Expertise with mouse models of human cancer.
  • Proficiency with various mouse handling techniques, including dosing, tumor inoculation/measurements, and tissue collection.
  • Experience with sterile tissue culture and molecular and basic cellular biology techniques.
  • Computer literacy, especially proficiency with GraphPad Prism, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Perform timely data verification and ensure accuracy for laboratory notebooks, protocols, and reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on day-to-day responsibilities and research goals.
  • Must be detail-oriented, punctual, reliable, and available on weekends when necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
