Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their occupational therapy needs, and develop personalized treatment plans to achieve their goals.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and therapists, to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes, in accordance with regulatory and professional standards.
  • Leadership and Education: Mentor and supervise new caregivers, occupational therapy assistants, and students, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Quality Improvement and Monitoring: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and monitoring activities to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Experience: One year of experience as an Occupational Therapist, with a preference for home health experience.
  • Licensure: Current Occupational Therapist License in the State of Washington.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
