Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team at UofL Health. As an RRT, you will be responsible for providing patient-centered care to patients of all ages, utilizing your knowledge of respiratory care and age-specific competence.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner and be courteous to patients, physicians, visitors, and healthcare personnel.
  • Support and contribute to departmental productivity and organizational objectives by functioning as an integrated member of the respiratory care team.
  • Perform services consistent with your scope of licensure.

Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Cardiopulmonary Services or Respiratory Care from an accredited respiratory therapy educational program.
  • Active license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner from the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care (KBRC).
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers and American Heart Association Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Cardiopulmonary Services or Respiratory Care from an accredited respiratory therapy educational program.
  • One year of experience in respiratory therapy critical care.
