Job Summary

Florida Atlantic University (FAU) is seeking an Associate Professor/Professor with a primary care focused FNP or AGNP certificate for Boca Raton, FL. This position is a 9-month tenure-track faculty line. About the College of Nursing

The Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing is known internationally for its dedication to Caring: expanding the science, practicing the art, studying the meaning, and living it day-to-day. We offer four-degree programs (BSN, MSN, DNP and PhD) with curricula that are unique and caring-based with opportunities for interprofessional education with medical, social work and pharmacy students.

Research Opportunities

Our research advances caring science in the areas of: healthy aging across the lifespan, holistic health, health equity, and transforming nursing practice environments. We encourage candidates who can contribute to research that aligns with the College of Nursing's and FAU's research pillars within the I-HEALTH and I-BRAIN research institutes to apply.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A research doctorate in nursing from an accredited institution (PhD or DNS - doctor of nursing science) or a related field (A Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is not applicable for this research-intensive position).
  • A primary care-focused FNP or AGNP certification.
  • A focused research trajectory and a record of sustained scholarly activity and peer-reviewed publications.
  • A nursing license and be eligible for RN licensure in the state of Florida by the time of application.
