Key Responsibilities- Provide guidance and support to healthcare providers on coding and classification systems to ensure accurate and compliant coding practices.
- Develop and implement coding and classification systems to improve reimbursement and revenue cycle management.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of HIM department personnel to ensure high-quality coding and data management practices.
- Collaborate with clinical professionals to develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Minimum of 2 years of inpatient or outpatient coding experience.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding guidelines and classification systems.
- CPC, CCS, CIC, RHIT, or RHIA certification via AHIMA or AAPC.
