Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general nursing care and leadership to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary caregivers to promote and restore patient health
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement proper clinical protocols to ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality of care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • Current nursing license in the state of Massachusetts
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Ambulatory Surgery, Outpatient Surgery, Recovery Room, or Medical/Surgical Nursing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
