About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Care team as a Float Pool Nurse. In this role, you will provide exceptional care to patients throughout procedural services, supporting the Procedural Float Pool specialty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for procedures and provide post-procedure and extended recovery care for inpatient and ambulatory populations.
  • Work collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.
  • Support the Procedural Float Pool specialty, working in various procedural areas, including Interventional Radiology, Endoscopy, Extended Recovery, Outpatient Infusion Center, Cardiac Rehab, and Pain Management Center.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
  • Experience: Post-Anesthesia Care/Procedural Recovery Unit experience preferred. Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit experience preferred. Intravenous skill experience preferred.
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS required.
  • Other: Membership in professional organizations is recommended, and certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
