Overview:
As a Senior Buyer at LS Solutions, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations. This position requires a confident professional with a wealth of buying experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess a deep understanding of effective buying practices, particularly in relation to MRP and replenishment strategies.
- Manage the buying cycle, which includes order placement, expediting, de-expediting, and gathering master data to facilitate future bulk purchasing.
- Develop and document policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Analyze data in accordance with buying and stocking policies to drive informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with fellow buyers to impart knowledge on standard work and performance cycles.
- Utilize Excel or ERP tools effectively, applying MRP concepts to optimize processes.
- Familiarity with JD Edwards is highly advantageous for setup, MDM structure, and operational performance.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of practical experience in the supply chain domain.
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
