Job Summary

This role is responsible for acting as a liaison between PCHA clinics and LPCH Clinical Technology, ensuring seamless integration of biomedical devices with Epic systems. The Clinical System Engineer will work closely with the department director to design and deploy clinical technology infrastructure for all UHA clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist doctors and nurses with clinical technology maintenance and repair assistance
  • Report problems and solutions to CT& BE leadership
  • Provide user training to all clinicians
  • Adhere to the CT& BE Medical Equipment Management Plan
  • Ensure complete and meaningful Nuvolo database documentation
  • Responsible for life-support and critical equipment regulatory compliance issues
  • Ensure all medical equipment safety issues are properly handled
  • Regularly meet with managers, leadership councils, and staff
  • Serve as a liaison between Manufacturer/Vendor and equipment users
  • Lead the Clinical Technology planning and deployment for UHA facilities
  • Represent the Clinical Technology department in enterprise-wide projects
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
  • Three (3) years of Clinical Technology Project management experience
  • CBET (Certified Biomedical Technician) preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Project Management Experience preferred

  • Knowledge of project management process and systems
