We are seeking a highly skilled Radar Engineer to join our team at ArrayLabs, LLC. As a Radar Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design and development of our cutting-edge radar imaging system.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-performance radar imaging and digital communication systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate radar systems with other technologies
  • Develop and implement test plans for hardware verification and validation
  • Generate bit-accurate and cycle-accurate vector models to support RTL design verification
  • Create spacecraft hardware requirements, specifications, and test procedures
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in system-level modeling and digital signal processing
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Learns new concepts rapidly, completely, and in a self-directed manner
  • High levels of self-motivation and personal accountability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under significant time constraints
  • Proficient in MATLAB, C/C++, and/or Python
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Master's degree in electrical engineering with an emphasis in radar image formation and/or digital signal processing
  • 2+ years of experience in system-level radar modeling
  • 2+ years of experience in working on Synthetic Aperture Radar image formation techniques such as back projection or polar-format algorithm
  • 2+ years of experience in design and verification of beamforming radar or communications systems
  • Experience with radar waveforms and pulse-encoding schemes, including LFM chirp, pseudo-noise waveforms, and low-autocorrelation or LPI techniques
  • Experience designing and implementing imaging modes and algorithms
  • Experience creating detailed system-level simulators for performance analysis
  • Experience performing system link budget analysis for radar imaging performance prediction
  • Knowledge of transmitter and receiver design, algorithms, and hardware architectures
  • Knowledge of FPGA and ASIC development concepts, methodologies, and procedures
  • Experience working in a lab and using laboratory test equipment
