In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting students with behavior management within a structured educational setting, particularly focusing on those on the Autism Spectrum. Your duties will encompass providing academic support according to students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and aiding in the attainment of both academic and behavioral objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish a consistent and secure atmosphere for students.
- Assist children with various daily tasks.
- Support the execution of IEPs and behavioral strategies.
- Collaborate with educators to reinforce learning materials and skills.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- If no degree, a minimum of 2 years of childcare experience or 7 years of parenting experience is necessary.
- Experience in the health and human services sector is highly preferred.
