Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leadership and team members to identify and address facility maintenance requirements.
  • Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
  • Keep management informed about the status of repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Work alongside the team to maintain an exemplary physical environment.
  • Respond promptly to facility-related challenges, conducting assessments and implementing repairs as necessary.
  • Ensure that maintenance staff and external service providers have the required tools and supplies, while maintaining equipment in optimal condition.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
  • Develop initiatives aimed at cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Promote and adhere to safety protocols across all responsibilities, addressing any hazardous conditions.
  • Conduct inspections and perform repairs on HVAC, generator, and boiler systems, or coordinate with approved contractors for complex issues.
  • Inspect and repair electrical and lighting systems, or engage outside contractors for intricate repairs.
  • Assess and execute landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and snow removal as required.
  • Source necessary parts and equipment for maintenance and repair projects.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs and preventive maintenance activities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive understanding of maintenance practices and standards.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement effective solutions for facility-related challenges.
  • Solid grasp of facilities maintenance, including environmental systems, painting, HVAC, fire suppression, and minor carpentry.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • HVAC or electrical certification is advantageous but not mandatory if the candidate has demonstrated experience in these areas.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Demonstrated reliability and strong attendance record.
  • Willingness to respond to emergency situations outside of regular hours.
  • Physical capability to walk, stand, bend, and lift objects up to 75 lbs.
