We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes, ensuring efficient throughput and high-quality care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, collaborating with other members of the management team to drive positive change.
- Support the development and implementation of nursing strategies, including employee rounding and hourly rounds.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor needs to meet patient care demands.
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- A minimum of 1 year acute care or specialty experience.
- Demonstrated skills in organization, communication, customer service, math, analysis, reading, and basic computer usage.
- Supervision, delegation, conflict management, and team building skills.
- Flexible and resourceful, with the ability to make decisions quickly.
- National professional certification.
- Unit-specific requirements, including BLS, ACLS, and CPI certification.
