Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN CVICU

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN CVICU to join our team at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care and coordinating all functions in the unit/department during your designated shift.
Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with other management team members.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, recommending and implementing courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and/or disciplinary actions to ensure a competitively better organization.
- Assist with staff scheduling, managing all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
- Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing, with a BSN or MSN preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year acute care or specialty experience preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in organization, verbal and written communications, customer service, math, analysis, reading, following instruction, basic computer usage, clinical expertise, and exemplary leadership skills.
- Tactful communication skills and the ability to listen, empathize, and respond to patient, family, internal, and external partners' needs.
- Supervision, delegation, conflict management, and team building skills.
- Flexible and resourceful, with the ability to make decisions quickly.
- FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure, with active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.
- National professional certification required within one year of meeting requirements for appropriate certification testing.
