Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and close new business opportunities with family offices across our investments, banking, fiduciary, master custody, technology, and other advisory offerings.
  • Lead the sales process end to end, including identification of new business opportunities, product positioning, and closing and onboarding of new clients.
  • Cultivate relationships with external referral sources and key influencers to family offices.
  • Collaborate with team members across solutions to determine the best coverage model and strategy for day-to-day client management.
  • Engage in marketing strategies and regional campaigns, host curated events in the community, and participate in local professional networks to source new business opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed the performance expectations established for the role - individual will focus on new business growth and client expansion across established family offices.
  • Establish a well-established reputation as a top advisor in the market, being active in the community and prospecting in the target market. Must have the ability to engage Family Office, and other Lines of Business across the firm in their practice.
  • Demonstrate pipeline growth and exhibit best practices / behaviors, including tracking and reporting on business development results and corresponding activity.
  • Contribute to existing relationships and assist BNYM partners with client retention and new sales opportunities.
  • Ensure all policies, procedures, and regulations are properly followed and executed.
Requirements:
  • Deep expertise working with ultra-high net worth individuals and family offices specifically with substantial investable assets and demonstrate stellar team-building skills.
  • Knowledge of local market networks and influencers to source business.
  • Undergraduate degree required. Additional certifications and advanced degree a plus.
  • 10+ years of sales experience, relationship management experience, and/or demonstrated the ability to be a strong producer of sales records in the Wealth Management industry.
  • Successful candidates must have experience working with ultra-high net worth individuals and clients with substantial investable assets and demonstrate stellar team-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial situations to propose the appropriate services to the client/prospect and the client/prospect's advisors.
  • Holds or willing to attain Series 7 & 63.
